Cupcake Squares was established in 2012 and is inspired by the latest trend in cupcakes. Cupcakes have taken the world by storm over the last few years. There are mini, jumbo and regular ones in the market today.

We came up with the idea of square cupcakes, which is the first of its kind in Australia and probably the second one in the world. Cupcake Squared is the other known square cupcake shop located in San Diego.

Instead of cutting the cakes into a square shape, our square cupcakes are crafted in contemporary, multi-coloured, square baking cups.

These are made with food grade, greaseproof paper and are completely heat resistant. All of our delicious cupcakes are baked in these lined cups, which allow it to retain moisture and minimise handling.

With the numerous chemicals and additives that are being added to almost all types of shelf foods, you have to make sure that you are getting your food from a safe source.

Cupcake squares is a sure source. We would like to be an integral part of this community and serve the best and guaranteed product, for customer satisfaction. We will not compromise on quality and services provided to the customers.

We believe in keeping our customers happy and providing them with all natural Australian made products such as, flour, butter, sugar, eggs etc. Our products are   HOMEMADE and HANDMIXED, free from any pre-mixed ingredients, preservatives or artificial flavours.  We use minimum nuts and sugar paste or fondant in our baking.   

Our product range includes, many varieties of square cupcakes, cheesecakes scones (plain, date, and pumpkin) cream buns (vanilla, salted caramel, strawberry and chocolate) fruit breads (Banana, apple and cinnamon, pear and raspberry, turmeric ginger caramel), meat pies, (plain beef, beef and mushroom, chicken n veg, and butter chicken. Now for the icing on the cake, you can choose from our original recipe chocolate mock cream, salted caramel mock cream or maybe a homemade butter cream.

All products are available in gluten free and vegan options except for the cream buns and cheesecakes.

Our team of experienced bakers are always experimenting and creating new products that are tried and tested for its taste and quality. Cupcake Squares provides customers with the ability to have their cake and eat it too, they are uniquely designed to be portable   and overcome the age old issue of how to eat a cupcake without making a mess.

Customers are able to eat the cake with or without a fork, while on the go or at their destination.   Our practical packaging is fully recyclable, keeping in line with the ethos of sustainability and innovation.

To add a unique flair to our cupcakes and cheese cakes, we have introduced individual packaging for each item, where the product is displayed in an attractive food grade milk paper box with a transparent window. These make great gifts for loved ones or co-workers.
